Please compare torches of the same model # only. Such as L0D CE vs L0D CE Q4 or P3D CE vs P3D CE Q5. You may compare RB100 to an earlier Cree model though the difference in beam pattern/tint might make the results suspect. I am using Fenix model #s because I am familiar with Fenix lights but other manufacturers lights can be used in the poll as long as they are the same model.
Difference in actual use is like I have to switch from medium to high in an L0P SE but can stay in medium in an L0D CE.
Only noticeable in A-B comparison means no difference in actual use but noticeable when comparing side by side. I can tell my 1st L0D CE (suspect P3WC bin) and my 4th (P4WD?) are different in side by side white wall hunting but if I just pick one up I can not tell which one it is from the brightness.
Difference not noticeable.
I have a Q4/Q5/RB100 but no earlier torch of the same model to compare to.
I do not have a Q4/Q5/RB100 torch.
The last 2 is to give a feel of how many people are not able to compare.
