Cabela's XPG L1 500 lumen!!??

They just opened a Cabela's about 45 minutes from where I live. I saw an ad today for the Cabela's XPG L1 and the advertised lumens are 500!!?? Does anyone have one? It comes with ac and dc chargers for $80.

Any advice or opnions? I am VERY happy with the Leatherman Monarch's I bought last night at Costco. Looks like the days of expensive bright lights may be numbered!

I'm not expert... but isn't that basically a battery powered 45 watt automotive lamp?

This light is an incandescent, which would be better asked about on the incandescent forum. Ironically, I asked the very question over there about 10 minutes ago. Great minds think alike. Struck me as a boatload of lumens for $80 but we'll see what they say over there..
