ok i give up searching please help

I am trying to find a "cut down" maglite host to accept a 4AA holder for 6 volts. I have tried searching and cannot find where to buy the short tube.

i want to be able to run the malkoff in a less abusive manner (meaning abusing me) than a 3 or 4 cell mag

If it's just a size and weight issue, what about a 3C Mag?

for a glovebox/pack-backup light size is an issue

i think the 2 cr-123a or 4AA size would be perfect but i love the throw of the mag head and the lvl and color temp out of the malkoff

ohhh and i almost forgot i would love to find a lop camless alum reflector for it

Wow,

I typed in 1d Mag in the searh engine and the first hit came up with one of Ledean's excellent 1D mag sales threads. If you are after a 1D Mag I would recommend his. They are great and will host a Malkoff drop-in nicely.
