I just purchased a Propoly Lux LED and noticed that the LED Module has a little rattle inside it. Are they all like that? It doesn't bother me if that is the nature of the beast, but I wanted to make sure in case I needed to sent it back. Thanks!

if it is a sealed light probably there is a pellet in there to absorb vented gases from batteries to keep pressure from building up inside etc.

I have two Propoly Lux flashlights, purchased over a year apart, and the LED modules of both exhibit a slight rattle when shaken. Like Lynx_Arc, I assume that it's a catalyst pellet.

My Propoly's rattle, too. I don't see any catalyst pellets, although my UK eLED's (a similar type of light) have visible pellets in the LED module and they definitely rattle a lot, so it's probably safe to assume the Propoly's have them, too. It's a safety feature.

I had one of them apart, and yes, there are catalyst pellets in there.
The rattle is normal.
