Hi All,

Right now I have a polystinger as my primary, with a 3-cell mag in the trunk for traffic. I would like a decent back up LED light, that is fairly bright, that will fit in a small closed top holder on my belt. It would be no longer than a AA mini mag, and have a tailcap switch. Ideally I would like it the size of a brinkmann maxfire. My budget is $40-$60. I would also like it to run on the c123 lithiums, since this will see little use, as I will still carry the poly. Any suggestions? :D

Fitting your wants list and only a smidgeon outside your budget, you might look at either the Lumipower M1-T (Tactical) http://www.batteryjunction.com/xxx-tactical-m1.html

... or if you can stretch your budget just a little more, there's the Deree CL1H. http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/showthread.php?t=170818

There's a big field from which to choose that fits your list of requirements, but for a good mix of cost vs. quality, those are my suggestions.
However, those might be a little "stockier" than you'd like. You can also take a look at the Fenix L2D-CE/Q5 (AA batteries) which is EXACTLY the same size as a Maglite AA. https://www.fenix-store.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_65&products_id=362
Then if you really want to stay with CR123's for sure, there's the CR123 equivilant to the above Fenix, the Fenix P3D(Cree Edition). https://www.fenix-store.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_69_70&products_id=227
Like I said, LOT'S of choices; all good.

Why not just get a drop in like the Bug Out Q5 ?
It fits in the Brinkman and will get you more light, longer run time. It's a win win and it is under $60.00

A Fenix would make a great back up light. I'd recommend the T1 or the L2T V2.0 because they both have a forward clickie and easy to use two modes. The T1will be brighter and throw further but the L2T V2.0 is cheaper and uses AA batteries.

If you insist on running it on CR123, I would recommend the Fenix P3D(allthought the brightest version, the Q5 is out of your budget at 67USD), it's on of the slimmest and smallest 2xCR213 lights(which was one of your requirements?).
The Fenix L2D Q5 is also very bright and slim, put some lithium AAs in it, and you'll get all the pros of CR123.
