I've decided it is time to sell a prized specimen: The Chrononster.:(

This is a KL3 first-gen head modded by the milkyspit. It is running a WY0S LuxV at around 1 to 1.2 A. It is by far the brightest single LED light I've owned. I did some beamshots earlier this year and it had an X-bin HD45 for breakfast. It had at least the same output as a milkyspit 3xLED M180!

It is attached to a 2x18500 Leef body. It includes a Leef-grip. The tailcap is now a Surefire Z48 clicky. All in OD HA. No, the HA is not a perfect match, but it never is. Everything looks new. There is a pink mark on the Leef body, which I've seen now on a couple other bodies. Makes me think it is a factory blemish. No dings, no marks. It runs for around an hour on 2x17500 protected cells (included). There is no reflector. Instead, milky hand cut an Electrolumens optic. It isn't pretty, but DAMN it is effective. This is the most amazing wall-of-light I've ever seen. I still don't own any single LED light that comes close to this beam. It is ideal for outdoors use.

$204.99 plus shipping. I prefer USPS Priority Mail. Insurance is extra and is charged at cost. I accept Paypal: kimo123 at hotmail dot com. First "I'll take it" post wins. This is on other boards, so in case of a tie the first timestamp will decide the winner.

Thanks guys!

It is an AMAZING trail light. The best I've ever owned. This kills me to sell, but I need to raise some moolah.

Trivia: I think this is the first "labeled" light from Scott... I had to beg Scott to sign his work (Scott, if I'm wrong please let me know).

skalo, you won't be displeased. The optic is ugly to look at,, but wow does it work. A "wall of light" best describes its beam. Almost a "hammer" of light! :)

That's a typo, right?
Sigh. Yes, 1.0 to 1.2 A

Check out the beamshot link provided above. This is bright, long-running, and so effective when walking trails or hiking. It is a tough, durable light too.

To paraphrase the immortal J. Peterman (and pay homage to my favorite author):

Ernest Hemingway

He probably bought his flashlight at a general store in Cuba, sitting next to the cash register, among the beef jerky wrapped in cellophane. Or maybe in a tackle shop in Key West. When one is hunting subs in the bays around Cuba, one needs a good light. Imagine what he could have seen with a light like this. I had to go to some trouble to have this one made for me but it had to be done. I enlisted the aid of a good friend and specialist, milkyspit. My demand: a light that is ideal for hiking. Illuminate the trails, the underbrush. When something goes "bump" in the night, this would be the light to use. And it is.

HA in OD green for the urban tactical in you. Aggressive Surefire first-gen KL3 head covered with cooling fins. Leef body with Leef grip to provide multiple options for grip. Surefire Z48 clicky tailcap, armored in rubber, and tough as they come.

If you want a light that you can depend upon, this is it. I know I trusted my life to it a few times. Now, so can you.

Hey Griff,

Unfortunately that light isn't for sale. Sorry!!! :):nana:

I'm going to keep the Chrononster up for sale for another day or two, then withdraw it and put it away. So if you are interested please let me know!

Hmmm.

If you buy this light, I'll even let you rename it. Think about it.

"Sasha-onster" (er, that is a little clumsy...)
"EricMackster"
"Skalomaster"
"Kenster" (oh, wait, that won't work...)
"Souptreester"
"Archanglester"
"msaxster"
"PKster" (sure, like that'll happen...)
"mossyoakster" (she'll like that)
"hodsta-meister"
"yournamester" yeah, that works!

How about I also do this: I'll throw in a one-time price reduction to:

$224.99

That's right! You could either purchase a tank of gas or purchase my light. Decisions, decisions.

How about another price drop? Eh? That's gotta be a record. Two price drops in ONE THREAD.

$204.99 for this weekend only. Then it gets pulled back into duty.
