I have a few P6's they say are rated at 60 lumens. I was thinking of getting the G2 led which they say is rated at 80 lumens. If someone has the G2 can you tell me about it. I am new to this LED type lighting. Wondering how the beam looks on the led vs a lamp. Also looking into the Fenix T1, but this looks to be a little bit bigger than the P6.

Thanks for your info.

The newer LEDs can actually hit over 200 Lumen if driven correctly.

I have neither but I do remember seeing beamshots and comparisons, don't remember the threads though.

The T1 will be brighter and throw further then both Surefires and still have a low mode for longer runtime. The Surefires are probably tougher but that might not factor in depending on what you need the light for. Also look at the Dereelight CL1H. The CL1H will out throw the T1 if coupled with a smooth reflector. There is a 8% off coupon at Fenix Store, "CPF8".

One of these LEDs will make an incan lamp seem very yellow and dimmer(Depending on which incan you are comparing to) but might make everything seem "flatter".
