hey guys..was wondering if anyone could help..i pulled out my pelican m6 led light that i havent used in a while and put in some brand new (and voltage tested) cr123 and the light is only about 1/4 as bright as it should be?..double checked batteries again (used the same batteries in another light and tested them with a dvm and used different batteries) all with the same results?..its like the led is on low power or something but to the best of my knowledge this light only has one power..high...can led's go bad where they dim?..any ideas

As LEDs get uses, they dim.

It could also be bad contacts, try cleaning the threads and the battery contacts in the light.

Maybe it's time to modify it to a brighter LED.
