Surefire N2 Turbo LA measures 1.21A using (3x) CR123's

Can the N2 fit in a KT1 turbohead (which utilizes a N1) and be driven by (2x) AW RCR123's?
Will the output be slight-yellowish or whitish?
KT1 head will be going on to my M2 body and SW02 clicky tailcap

Are there any other alternatives to use "lamp-wise" without extending the body?

yes, it is very similar in power consumption and output to a MN15, which will work in that configuration reasonably well with a fairly short runtime of around 20-30 minutes... It will start off at about the same brightness as it would be on 3xCR123 but will diminish more rapidly through the run. Does make for a nice compact rechargeable thrower though.

ahhhhhhh i see....

so i should go for a MN15 lamp?
dammit i just sold that off CPFmp last week when i got my HO-M3T for my M3T *sigh

so back to the MN15
less work for the R123s since it's drawing less current

is it still going to throw off an oval shape, or a round like LF lamps?

thanks for the fast response mdocod!

Most of the SureFire lamps throw an oval hotspot because of the shape of the filiment and the efficiancy of the reflector.

The N2 and MN15 should pull the same amperage with two RCR123's (7.2-8.4 volts). The MN15 us considered a more robust LA than the N2.
