For that price I would recommend the Streamlight 2AA LED ProPolymer Flashlight. Takes 2 AA batteries, puts out about 25 lumens and has a very long run time.

For $28 you can get a Fenix L0D SE (it's on the clearance page on fenix-store.com and there's a 20% off coupon - check the CPF Specials thread).

You will laugh.

Rayovac Sportsman Xtreme 3Watt LED light.

Yep, I said Rayovac.

The body is made of machined aluminum, has a sturdy metal belt clip and a secure lanyard. It is tailcap push button for temporary lighting, and twist for constant. It uses 2AA batteries. I believe the runtime is 2hrs...not great, but better than a lot of lights. 80 Lumens.

I got mine for $25 and Wal-Mart

+1 to Rayovac, but get the 1 watt model. Better tint, much longer runtimes, and there isn't that big of a difference between the brightness of the 1watt and 3 watt.
