Just got a G3L-BK from OpticsHq yesterday, and the wife is already trying to steal the ever so slightly pink Led module!
In the G3L, with two primary cells tailcap current runs 390mA, with three cells only pulled 260mA. SF claims 5.8 hours of "tactical-level" light, I think they are being a little optimistic, but not by much. I'm thinking about 5 hours on three primary cells is a reasonable expectation, but mine will end up running from 2x17500, should be a great guilt free setup.
Subjectively, the body feels somewhat "slick" to me, and a lanyard ring will be installed before taking it afield.
