well with the multitude of chinese nanucfacturers and subcontracted machining there is going to be many strange light part combinations made...

So how about a thread on this?

Here is mine....

The Ultrafire 606A and Romisen RC-G2 have interchangable tailcaps (1st is reverse clickie, second one is forward-clickie) They fit and work perfectly, and looks are compatible too. But sorry the switches inside do not interchange....

Sorry I do not have pics for it....

How about your lights?

I also have a RC-G2 (Grey) & an 606A (Black) The tailcap from the RC-G2 fits the 606A but the 606A tailcap does not thread on to the RC-G2. The RC-G2 is 19.0mm OD across the threads but the 606A is 18.5mm.
If it fits the forward clicky of the RC-G2 could be used to convert another light.

I guess it just depends on in which machine-shop the bits were made.

My current "beater" lights are combined from an Ultrafire WF-801, WF 502D, and 502B.

The 801 comes with a threaded K2 pill, and forward clicky. This light is an obvious Huntlight clone. The 502B and 502D came with Cree P60 drop-in modules, the unit in the 502D was good quality, while the one in the 502B was junk. The 502's are similar in design to the 801, but they lack some of the details in the body machining, and don't have the forward clicky. The 502D is 2 18650 sized, the 502A and 801 are 1x 18650 sized.

Light #1 - I took the head from the 502 and installed it on the 801. The 502D head isn't threaded inside, and makes for a better fit for a standard p60 drop-in. So I'm using the DX SSC with an 18650, and I get the nice forward clicky of the 801. Plus, I can switch to an HO-9 and 2 RCR123's if I want to go hotwire. It's a great light.

Light #2 - Then, I removed the K2 pill from the 801 head, installed it on the 502D body, and dropped in a P91 with 2 18650's. I needed to fabricate a metal ring to have the p91 ground properly. I also needed to replace the switch that came with the 502D, as it broke almost instantly. Oh yeah, and the cheezy belt clip broke off already. But, holy cow, the P91 on 2 18650's is a flippin' wall of light.

Light #3 - I just fixed the 502B by replacing the switch. I also installed a 4-mode cree drop-in. This one goes into the car.
