olight T10 Q5 w/AW protected R123A?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has tried running the olight T10 Q5 with an AW hi-current protected R123A cell? Does it fit/run properly?

I know some CPF'ers have used the T20 Q5 with it, but is the T10 the same? Thanks for your time.

Hi, Paul! Yes you can run the T10 Q5 on AW's RCR123's. However, the only modes you'll be able to get are high, SOS and strobe. The higher voltage of the RCR123's causes the T10 to go into direct drive, so the lower four modes of output are not accessible. Hope that helped!
