I got the DBS in the mail today. Nice bright light.:faint:

It says in the user manual that if you leave on for more than 1 second the light has a bemory mode. The next time you turn it on it remembers the last mode.

I push to turn to low...Click to hold that level, use the light for what I need and click to turn off. Every time I turn back on with a full click I get high mode. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?:sigh:

2nd question...How do you go about changing out the spare cap???

Thanks
Greg

When you turn it back on (when having it in low when you turned it off) do you press lightly and let go before fully clicking it on? The click doesn't return to the last mode, the turning back on of the light by pressing the switch on will return it to the last mode (or should) and clicking will lock it on.

For the tailcap I just use fine needle nose pliers to fit into the little holes in the retaining ring inside the tailcap, unscrew that, then unscrew the one behind it that holds the tail cap cover in place.
