i've been wondering what to do with this delrin i bought...this is something i came up with:
it is rather crude on the inside, i bored it out with a sharpened nail /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
it is held on by friction...it is quite a tight fit, which is further enhanced by the rubber grip of the flashlight. coupled with the pill i made about a week ago, this is truly a useful light!
it turns out (no pun intended /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif ), that the grip is the same diameter as the head, so when it rolls, it rolls straight...i'm not exactly sure why this is useful, but i like it...
it is also much easier to carry, and balances the weight out very evenly. i did not bother with an ergonomic design, but if i tried, i don't think i could have gotten a getter fit for my hand...this this is nice to hold!
