Sold:
HA-III natural 6D body. This is the only 6D body mirage_man did in his last run.
It comes with a 1/16" x 1/16" finned head. Otherwise it's completely stock.
6x 10Ah NiMH D cells. Thes came from a pack I bought from batteryspace. In breaking up the pack I damaged the individual shrinkwrap so I wrapped them in electrical tape.

If you want me to turn this into an ROP-Hi, I'll have to look at my parts to see if I have the right stuff. That, of course, would cost a little more because I'd have to use an aluminum reflector.

You should have seen the Mag458 I sold to another CPFer. It wasn't HA, but it was 11D long.

Actually, this one's going led, with 4 newer cree XRE's (700+ lumens?) for a long running led based search and rescue light.
I'm only lacking the newer R2 flux or better Cree XRE stars to make this one happen.

Wow! I never thought I'd see you get rid of any of these.

I know. I figured these would be fodder for many beautiful mods. I have other "needs" at the moment. This is breaking my heart. Truly. That 2D Mag275 is my favorite light. The 6D which was a MONSTER runtime ROP was a close second. The quality of your work was just beautiful. Thank you for such great offerings in the first place.

I think my P4 QuadCree by MillerMods was putting out about 600 lumens, and with the (in progress) upgrade to Q5 should be pumping out 7-800L. I think you could get what you wanted without the R bins...

Btw, are you in SAR? or are you an LEO?

Good luck with the mod! Hope you don't have to use the secondary features of the light and mess up the HA finish =)

*knock *knock *knock :huh2:
Who's that guy in the yellow and red outfit with the long white package?

I opened the door and.....

"It's here!" :wow:

This is one of the better type3 anno-ed lights I have ever seen.
Every piece is nearly identical in color. :goodjob:

I'm now charging the batteries.

Thank you for offering this.
I love it!

You can thank mirage_man for that HA job. Each of the 5 lights I got from him matched wonderfully.
What are you turning it into again?

Truthfully, I'm not sure if it will end up as a hotwire mod, or another quad led mod.
I'm looking to make either of these in excess of 700 lumens either way.
The nimh batteries that came with it ought to do fine with either.
