Compact rechargeble light to mod for 5w?

Been thinking. A powerfull bright light would be great for emergencies, but yet small and compact so you can carry with and have on hand for when the situation occours. No one carries around a large light waiting for an emergency..
Now it would be great if the light was recharable to save money as powerfull/small size eats power. You'd probably use it more as an everyday light this way too.

Is there any good lights that would make a good donor for a 5W luxeon? I looked at the Smith & Weson S7 on ebay which looks cool but not sure how hard it is to modify...

Anyone know about this light or others more suitible/cheaper? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
