i bought a used cr123 body for an L1T v1. decided to see if it would fit my L1P head and tailcap. it does and it works great.

do you think i will damage the led in the L1P by using 3 volts instead of the 1.5 volts that the light is designed for?? BTW, the switch in the cap is one i bought from 4 sevens that turns it into a 2 stage light, using a resistor. it also works great with the 3volt CR123.

thanks.............Bill

I wouldn't try it. If I recall L1P heads will not handle 3v primaries. L2P heads will. I think L1T/L2T heads are pretty much the same. I could be wrong about that, Four Sevens will know for sure. I have the same setup with an L2P/CR2 body/2stage and its a nice small setup. If you are interested in a head send me a PM, I have an extra.

The L1T/L2T heads are the same.

The L2P and the L1P are different heads. While the L1P will function brighter on 3V it will fry if you leave it on long enough.
