Do LED lights that have 4 smaller LED actually shine bright?

I wonder if these 4 lights shine brighter than single LED.

You need to be more specific. Are you comparing 4 of the same LED against 1 of the same LED? Like 4 Cree's, vs 1 Cree?

If they all have the same LM rating than yes. 4-240 LM leds in a light would be brighter than one with a single 240LM led you will lose throw with multiable leds

Is 4 LEDs brighter then 1 LED. If the same brand, model, and bin, that will depend on the total power to the LED.

Presuming that same over all power, for example, 1 watt to 1 LED and a total of 1 watt to 4 LEDs(.25 watt to each LED), the 4 LEDs will be brighter since LEDs get more efficient as their drive current goes down.
