I noticed in this review that an unprotected 14500 was used in the T15:

The reviewer also used a protected cell in a Nitecore DI. This was based on fit, the protected cell wouldn't fit in Olight T15. However, the DI is specified as being able to detect Li-Ion battery and "alarm" when low voltage occurs. So it would be more logical to use an unprotected cell in DI, if this were physically possible.
Question:
1. Is there any specification (in the manual or other, since there is no indication on Olight's T15 page) that the T15 can handle a 14500 without being overdriven?
2. Is there a protected 14500 known to fit in T15?
