Another gem has to leave me...
My most beloved titanium CR2-ION where I implanted a Cree XR-E emitter and a MCR16 reflector.
Doing this mod is a big mess because there is finally no space for this reflector.
Things are very close and to bring the refletcor in focus you even have to shorten the head and the batterytube by 3.5 millimeters. Sure you also have to cut the threads deeper into the tube...
So the complete light is also 3.5mm shorter than a standard ION
The bezel is opened to 14.5mm what is 2mm more than the original ION has.
There is now coming out plenty of light at the front, so this light is for all who are loving the Nautilus but woud like to have nearly the same in smaller size...
I made two of these lights and will for sure not make a third one.
One I will keep, this one will go to a new proud owner for $475.- shipped registered mail worldwide.
