i want one cell and cr 123. whcih is the brightess and how much is it. also how many lumens was the hds cr123 lights.just wondering how far we came

what kinda throw would the p1d ce have?
Effective - about 25 meters
Acceptable - about 50 meters
Depends on the reflector, though.

If you want throw and 1 CR123, then look at the Lumapower D-Mini.
All three lights(P1D-CE Q5, P2D-CE Q5, D-mini) will be brighter on 3.7v RCR123 batteries(But you will loose lower modes with the Fenix lights).
The P1D and P2D use a different circuit, that could be a reason, and each individual LED also varies a bit.
