need the stack height of a cree XR-E

whats up guys,
I'm in the process of designing a bike light, and i need to know the thickness of a cree XR-E on a star so i can make the holes the right depth. so basically, im going to need the thickness of the star, the full thickness from the back of the star to the front of a ledil optic (if someone wouldn't mind measuring), and the distance from the back of the star to where the emitter meets the back of a McR reflector with the proper centering ring.

if you guys could get me these values, I'd be very appreciative.

Different optics will have a different height and width. The stars are also variable depending if it is an aftermarket star or what comes from the factory.

You could just have a flap piece of metal and mount the stars on that and then get the height of metal needed.

Sorry, I have none of the values you are looking for.

i was half expecting that. i guess I'll just have to source components first and finalize housing designs later
