How do you change out the power button cover on the JetBeam C LE's?

I am presuming, you simply pull it out from the outside of the flashlight assembly, and push the new one in.

Is this correct? Is it difficult to do? Any tools that will help?

Thanks.

I'm not sure about your particular button but the clickies I have dealt with, you need to take the tailcap off the light and use a pair of needle nose pliers to unscrew the button mechanism from the inside. Then you take out the button assembly and the rubber cap will then be accessible.

Fishwatcher, I have changed the switch rubber boot of my C-LE V.2 because I didn't like the red color.

Inside the tailcap there is a red plastic retaining ring that you can easily unscrew with needle nose pliers as Oddjob says. Then you push out the switch and reach the rubber boot.

Thanks Kilovolt and Oddjob.

I don't have needle nose pliers small enough, but know what I need to get this done now.

You might be able to get by with a paperclip. Unfold it and get it into a long "U", makeshift tweezers.
