Do you have a picture of the bulb?

That would help in finding what you are looking for.

How about use the broken bulb as a reason to buy a new flashlight;)

well right from the picture it cried Ultrafire Wf-501 knockoff....

You are blessed! The bulb is surefire type as it seems. Measure the reflector, is it 26.5mm wide? If it is

Sit well here are your choices

Surefire bulbs
Lumens Factory bulbs
G&P bulbs
Ultrafire bulbs

THEN you have the LED module Choices:
ALL THERE IS TO KNOW ON THEM

Sources for buying
lighthound.com
batteryjunction.com
pts-flashlights.com
kaidomain.com & dealextreme.com & ultrafire-shop.com for cheap knockoffs
And any other retailer that appears on the above mentioned thread!

Suggestions: Dealextreme for sku.1447 LEd module and a cheap xenon bulb.
Higher dollar
-Lighthound for Lumens factory xenon and the own led module
-PTS-flashlights for Lumes factory and Wolf-eyes LED module
-batteryjunction for SUrefire LED & Xenon

You may be the most fresh member, and maybe you feel desperate with a seemingly unsolved problem, but dadam! we solve problems here!

after shopping around in suggested the web sites for the last 2 hours i've decided to buy an Ultrafire WF502B and a WF502D along with a spare 9V bulb for my current flashlight(going off of the looks i'm assuming a bulb that would fit a WF502B would also fit my thunderglare). thanks a lot guys i really appreciate the help and i'll be looking around the forums from time to time. if anyone sees anything wrong with this please leave a reply. i'll be putting out the order tomorrow. looks like i'll be ready for the next blackout(although i doubt it'll happen again so soon).
