Wolf Eyes RattleSnake polarity

Can anyone tell me the reason the WE RattleSnake requires the batteries inserted "-" to the head when the common practice is the reverse.
Is it something to do with the charging system?

Any info' would be greatly appreciated.

It only needs to be that way if you have an LED tailcap otherwise it makes no difference.

That is correct unless you have an older model tailcap charger to charge your batteries.

FK is correct. See THIS THREAD. If the led on the charger doesn't light immediately then the batteries are the wrong way round.

The model I am concerned with does have a tailcap charger.
