I have a couple NiMH AAA's laying around that could be used; any recommendations for a light with enough juice to warrant rechargables?

Maybe something like a 1xAAA cree pushing 500mA to the emitter? Or are there any cool 2xAAA lights out there? Runtime isn't a consideration as the self discharge rate on these is probably not so good (they are Ultralast brand).

IIRC, there's not really that much out there, unless you try an L0D-CE on a 2AAA Streamlight MicroSteam body.

My new Tiablo A1 throws surely farther than my old L0D Rebel 80 and L0D CE (not Q4 though). There's a lot of discussion around here as to this Tiablo's actual output but I can assure you that L0D Rb80's beam pales in comparison with it.

There are literally dozens of threads on the "best" and "brightest" AAA lights.

Try searching for "aaa" or "brightest" or "best" in titles only

How does the Tiablo compare to the KD Buckle light as far as output?

edit: nevermind, I should have searched first.
