need help with my little cree

so i have a cree c8, little cheap one. and i think something is wrong with my clickie because the light flickers randomly, sometimes when im moving it. and then sometimes it switches to the next mode by itself. so, all i want to know is if someone knows how i can mod it so that is just on hi, or off. i dont need the lo, strobe, and rapid strobe. or does someone know if there is a single mode clickie that i can get? i was looking on dealextreme in the DIY section but im a noob so i dont know what clickie will fit it. nor do i want to wait the long shipping time unless i have to. i tried searching the forums, but the search doesnt work? i get a blank page with an error.
if anyone could help that would be great. thanks in advance.
