The smallest I've handled is the Myshondt Nautilus. I own one and consider it great light. I did a review in the review section with pictures.
Brightguy has them in stock.

The Peak McKinley is pretty small - about 2.4" long with a pocket body.

I too have been thinking of getting a small single cr123 light.

Anyone know of one that doesn't have a reflector at all? For my use of this size I really just want a flood light and that would allow it to be smaller. I have seen some customs this way, but never a stock light.

This seems to be the smallest i've read to date, but I'm not so sure about the quality.

I just bought a Ultrafire 602C Q5 5-Mode LED Flashlight from DX which is 1mm wider and 7mm longer but it seems to be better quality and with a clicky!!

I might get one of the sku 2821, and do some surgery, maybe put a nice driver and q5, but it still wont be multimode, since i'm not sure how easy it is to change modes with a twisty

The smallest I've seen is a Fire~FlyIII, pocket body version.

It's 65.2mm x 20mm: https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/109517

However the emitter is out of date by current standards.

A more updated light of about the same size is the Fenix P1, at 67mm x 20mm: http://www.fenixlight.com/flashlight/fenixp1.htm

However newer battery and light technology allows very bright lights in a small space, using a variety of batteries. Examples:

Tiablo A1 (1x AAA): http://www.lighthound.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=3208

Fenix L0D CE: http://www.fenixlight.com/flashlight/fenixl0d.htm

Hitthespot listed one of the best and smallest CR123 lights that I have seen from my research. If that is too expensive you can look at a Fenix P1. Another small 123 light is the Lightflux-3 which has a lot of programability.

I would comment on DX's present level of service, but it may get this thread closed, so I won't
For all my earlier defense of dx, i too am starting to get frustrated, but they do get the job done, even if it takes quite a while..

The first version of this light was labeled "SuperBright" and was great. I ordered a lot of these over a period of about six months, and the lights changed from a head twisty to a tail twisty. They were later labeled "DX" or unlabeled. Although the product was advertised as having an OP aluminum reflector, I often got lights with SMO plastic reflectors. The tint, brightness and construction became cheaper and cheaper, so I stopped ordering them. I strongly suspect that the multiple versions came from different sources. The picture of the DX product continues to show the original model, but you never know what you might get. I had the same problem with Kai.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm just starting out with this addiction and the DX stuff and pricing is sooo tempting.

Consider the Romisen RC-C3. It may not be the smallest or lightest, but it is bright, has a nice tint and beam pattern (OP aluminum reflector), and is remarkably well made for only $13. It can tail stand, and a spring prevents battery rattle.

If you have a choice for cheap brands, Romisen would be the most desirable.

For many months, I have been eyeing the Ultrafire C6 and 602D lights at about $22. They are about 70mm or less and have great reviews on DX but rarely heard about them on this forum.
