do a google search and you will find them on sale at an insane price.

VERY bright and excellent build construction.

Im not sure what emitter is in it....but it is BRIGHT...

SEEMS brighter than the advertised 80 lumens would suggest.

overall, im very happy with it.

It uses a Luxeon IIIThe Seoul P4 is around 170 lumens.

I'm willing to bet within a few months we'll be seeing the SSL-2

The new P99 uses a non standard mount (still).
I know there are "keys" for the Streamlight TLR series that allow use on the P99 (I have one )

You could contact Insite and ask if there are adapters for the S&W TSW series as it is the same mount.

I think the ssl-1 needs a Seoul P4 transplant. I'm not going to make any lumen claims here but you'll increase your output by over 100% on the average by going from a Luxeon to a Seoul P4.

BTW, I like the hockey tape  I use it on almost everything like garden tools, shovels, etc. (including a flashlight I won't talk about). Never thought about using it on a firearm. I bet it beats the Hogues in terms of economy.

I spoke with Insight yesterday. The SSL will be getting a Seoul P4
Time frame is between 2 months and 6 months

They evidently need to clear old stock
