Try lighthound I beleive they have them for like $35.00I am not sure they have what you are looking for but it is worth a look.
The 17670 tube I just bought is knurled. Worst case you buy a c version and a 17670 and put them together and you have what you want.

Already been to the hound and ordered lots of hds stuff.

No knurled tails though, prefer to buy one intact from a kindhearted CPF'r.

Every 17670/2x123 HDS tube sold by lighthound.com has a knurled clickie included. The tubes are only $44. Seems as though someone would be willing to sell the clickie and just keep the tube. Or, you might wish to purchase one, take the clickie off and sell the bare tube for $20 or so?...

I don't the the clickies are removeable from the a/b/c HDS tubes, only the D tubes that had the knurling were removeable...at least I think...

Yeah, just head over to the HDS forum and there is a post with a million pictures in it...oh wait NVM, that forum got deleted and all of it's threads strewn about the net. :nana:

Yes, that is correct, but what does he do with that clickie? He cannot put it on his tube because his tubes clickie is not removeable (at least as far as I know and maybe it is but not easily)...that's what I was pointing out...

Ahhh...gotcha. In that case, kid might have better luck asking someone to swap his smooth tail + cash for a knurled tail since no one really wants to have a light engine without a battery holder but someone might not mind having a smooth vs. knurled switch.

Yes guys, I do need the WHOLE TAIL (D Type....all knurled).

I would gladly pay for one plus send you a C class tail
and dust cover!
