Yep. It works. Works pretty decently too when you use a rechargeable in it.

Surefire Lego play rocks.
Have a look around will find multiple threads which focus on the topic.
Some outrageous creations have been made. Really the sky is the limit. With so many heads, bodies, switches, and other accessories just go crazy.

BTW if you don't have one yet I have found that a E to C adapter can really open a lot of options.
Get one if you can find one. You will fine it handy in the long run if you want to continue to make surefire Legos.

With the E series heads that OpticsHQ is offering, the emphasis on E->C adapters is waning a bit. The E2 OpticsHQ head is great.

I am still looking for one. But I've got enough to play with right now that I don't need to add to it...but one day, I'll get one.
