I took a laptop battery apart it had 8 x 18650 cells in it. Now Im wondering if they are protected or anything. I am guessing there not since the protection is likely built into the circut board in the pack. but just wanted to check.
Can I look at them and tell or what can I find out about them?
Will post pic if needed.
Should be fine as long as voltage is never over 4.2 and under 2.7 right?
