I love tritium, and my L0D Q4. The trit marker in the back makes it even more special :grin2:. Anyway a pretty easy mod to do with a dab of epoxy. Cheers!

Is it encased? It just looks 'glued' which will easily break.

It is just glued. But it's recessed into the tail of the light so I don't think it will break too easily at least the way I carry it which is in my pocket by itself and without the key ring. I thought about possibly filling the tail with epoxy for a more secure mounting but I didn't want to do that to my flashlight and turn out to be a real mess.

What I might also do is silicone a piece of thin circular acrylic to the tail that would protect it better but be removable later on. I'm still toying with ideas :). Of course the ultimate would be if Fenix would start making their lights with tritium slots (hint hint).

Where did you get the tritium vial from, I've been looked for something like that for a while.

Admittedly not very hard.

The one I used was the 1.5 x 6mm vial from Merkava over in CPF marketplace.
