Anyone run a Malkoff M60 on a single cell, like a AW RCR123 in a Surefire 3P?

I've been looking for info on it, and have come up pretty dry so far.

I happen to have some inside information on this.
Gene is working on a single cell solution for lights like the 3P...
I beleive that he is close.... IMagine a 3P with a 1000 ma full power emitter working !! I like it!
I am sure you will too. I don't know if this will become part of the normal range of drop in's hw is making but I hope so. I have 2 3 P's waiting for drop ins.

Will these "new" drop ins work on 1 x18650?

Technically, they should. If they will work with a single primary or RCR123A, then it should work with an 18650.

This is a neat idea. Tonight I put together an E1L body, Z57 tailcap, E to C adapter and G2 bezel (to reduce weight) with a Cree P4 drop in just to see what it would do on one rcr123... WHOA! Same brightness and throw as 2xrcr123! funny looking with that big bezel but it actually feels great in the hand, and WOW it's bright. Reminds me of the "Noisy Cricket" gun from the movie Men In Black.
