I'm trying to figure out which leefbody head would screw into a stock surefire 9p head with a standard size p90 type dropin, are there any? It lists m, c and e heads but then lists a bunch of the fathead kh types in the list. I'm not up on the surefire lettering system. Any help moocho appreciated. What I want to find is a 2x 18650 body that I can use the stock head and tailcap on. I'll eventually upgrade those too a bit but for now that's my goal. It'll have a malkoff p60 dropin in there, that's the reason for the stock head size. If I can use another head that's better in some way, feel free to advise me in any fashion. Thanks a lot

g,

I too am making a hard left from Mag/Malk over to M60/Malk dropins. I spent the afternoon reading up all things Leaf and I'm still not totally sure. Here's what I know.

Basically, M60 upgrades fit into the C size (not to be confused with C size batteries!) SureFire hosts, which are smaller than the M size. Leaf makes C-C, C-M, and C-E products (and adaptors).

This is the master C-C thread:

Not to be confused with the BigLeaf system:

The 9P (which was my starting point) is a C-C. I went so far as asking Lee himself about making an all Leaf platform for M60 drop ins, but he's really swamped and such an undertaking is months away, at best. I've concluded that the easiest way to go is picking up a more common 6P (just a shorter body), then swapping out the SF body for a LeafBody.

Look at the bodies with "C Tail C" in the name and pick your battery. This is a reputable dealer, so whatever you end up ordering, ask in the comments if its correct for your application:

:D thanks for the info, c-c is what I needed exactly. Lighthound is my goto guys, they're even right down the road. If you're ever in Houston you gotta stop in, the place is like a strip club x10 for flashaholics. I could spend all day in there :D Thanks again!
