So while browsing my loca gun shop i came across this light.

40 lumens for 40 hours, a durable body, pelican garuntee, and $40.00 seems like a great deal to me.
Not tactical but fine for work. It doesnt say what type of LED it is but I dont think any luxeons get that much run time... I doesnt say whether it is regulated or not though.

I think it looks like a cool light too....except I cannot believe it is regulated. The SF e2l cree puts out 45 lumens for 9+ hours before dropping out of regulation. It also uses a more efficient emitter than the Pelican I believe. I just do not see how the #'s add up...unless the light starts out at 40 lumens and drops off to a long alkaline like trail.

My guess is that it's regulated but not through the entire run-time. Maybe it's regulated for 10 hours but produces some light for a long time afterwards. Or Maybe it has stepped regulation of some kind.

In any case it seems that most specs don't add up when compared with SF because they usually give realistic figures while few others do.

I'm not too sure about the pocket clip though. I looks like the radius bend protrudes kinda far. Hard to tell though without using it I suppose.
