Will there be a new Inova X1 with cree?

Hello.

I did a search and couldn't find anything.

I was wondering if Inova was going to update their X1 with a cree led? I was looking for a simple, inexpensive, durable, single function light using one AA battery. The X series of lights are very tough, and I was hoping the X1 would get upgraded with the cree.

Anyone know anything?

Inova is going with the K2 TFFC. No word yet on if this included the X1.

I'm pretty sure they won't, otherwise they'd have the Cree in the other lights too, but maybe they'll put a Nichia DS in them. Or if we're really lucky a Rebel.

I'd like to see a long runtime DS.
I love the old school v1 X1's with the optic, but I'd be fine if they went with a reflector as well. But I would like a nicer and more sturdy reflector than that which was on the v2.
