:welcome:

The Beast is one Beast of a light, but if you don't need the durability, there are many similar output lights for a lower price(some are much lower).

I'm amused that they simply decided on a Fenix in the end. Seems to be the way alot of threads here go as well!

Nice to hear the Fenix P3D has proved itself in a mine by a miner. I always thought it would be a great light for miners with the 60-70 hours of run time on LOW, and the 180-200 lumens of output on TURBO.

I don't think they were miners per say. I think he was a photographer that needed/wanted an HID for underwater shots in caves.

Also, what was this Dragon lamp a few of the spoke of? I haven't found any info it.

If i was a miner i sure get me a Surefire Beast or even a Hellfighter, sure the job is dangerous and everyday you go work you have the chance of not seeing the daylight again so at least get some good toys.
