I have a P85 and like the light.
Anyone have an idea how durable the rubber clickie is? The rubber seems a bit thin.
Also, I wondered if the flickering people have reported at the lowest setting is really flickering at the setting, or a low-level flashing of the locator or other pulsing program? When you get to the lowest setting, it is followed by a variety of flashing signals.
Any ideas?

I think the clicky itself is rated about 1 million clicks. The rubber I'm not sure as rubber may wear out depending on exposure but it's my guess you'll be buying a new much more advanced, brighter and longer running light long before it wears out. I think the flickering is a bug-a-boo that's not quite yet understood :) I have not experienced it on mine but it's possible I don't have mine setup like some people as my lowest low setting is up about 3 or 4 levels from the lowest possible.
