Surefire Titan T1A tail end

just noticed that the new Surefire catalog shows the Titan T1A with two different tail ends.

the new Titan measures in at 3" compared to the titanium version 3.15"
i wonder if the second picture is the final design since it is the shortest.

I believe that the pictures in the 08 catalog are just darkened versions of the original Titan ones. Particularly the one with the key, here's the previous one, it seems identical:

On the contrary the drawing is IMO the real McCoy. This possibly means that T1A is not yet ready, not even in ES format.

:) yes the T1A is a cr123 light but it will be .15" shorter than the titanium cr2 light according to Surefire.

i'm assuming the difference will be due to the shortened tail end.
