ever since i was on the board i thought CONUS was a shipping company, like DHL or something.

i just realized its CONTINTENTAL-UNITEDSTATES.

and all this time, i always thought to myself, "why don't these guy's just ship UPS?"

holy crap i'm dumb.

Maybe I'm the stupid one, CONUS means all 50 states to me.....:duh2: IE: "Continental US" not the " Contiguous United States" :thinking:

FYI, USPS shipping rates do not differentiate between locations in Hawaii, Alaska, or your neighboring city.

Hawaii isn't on a continent or contiguous. It's an island.

I first heard the term Conus many years ago. It's used regularly in the satellite industry, where they often speak of "Conus coverage" and "Conus beams" when discussing a satellite transmitter that covers the U.S. with it's signal.
