Finally got my Longbow Eco up and running with Li-Ions. I recently built a new capsule for it, using the gutted original capsule, with a Seoul P4 U-bin and an SOB 917 from the Shoppe. Then I stuck in two AW 17500s and it's running like a champ! Really, really bright and white. Works surprisingly well with the old IMS17 reflector. I haven't done any run time testing yet, as I just now got the AW cells, but I'm optimistic about this setup. It was pretty bright with my old setup, a Lux III T-bin with a BB700 that I built in a McCapsule, but this new combo just blows the old one away. I only ran into one problem and that was that the AW cells seem to be on the long side. They are longer than 3 CR123s so I had to file down the positive contact on the capsule a bit so I wouldn't crush the cells!

Anybody else running anything similar to this and what are your experiences?
