I need your expertise

I've beens searching the archives and forums for about two days now, and am having a hard time coming up with some current information about a mod I'd like to have: a Mag623.

I'm fairly new to modding (as in, never done it before), but I am fairly handy (and know how to solder) so I'm hoping to find some decent instructions on how to fabricate one of these guys. I'll even make my own battery pack if it's not too much work (and some schematics would be great).

So here's where you CPFers come in: I need information on where to go for my parts, and some instructions on how to make one of these guys. As a last-ditch effort, I'd consider buying one, but I'd much rather have the experience of making it.

Oh, and some information on what makes a good host (2-cell, 3-cell or 4-cell) would help too!
