Torches Ultrafire C3 and C-8 advice

A while a go 2 of my torches became faulty. Tried to fix them myself presuming it was the tailcaps. I Melted 1 switch, the other one fell to bits on taking it out of the tail end.

So what's left of them is the rubber tail cap and the screwing plate that holds the switch in place.

I presume the cree leds still work. Cosmetically they look perfect. I don't want to put them in the trash can.

I have had a look around for an easy solution to fix these. Can anyone recommend anything to me?

I'd keep the light for parts for any mods. I don't think there are any easy fixes.

The LEDs and drivers should still work.

Buy a new light?

:welcome: IMHO, It may be better to keep the lights for parts-the cost to fix them (shipping included) is more than the lights would be worth. Just my $0.02
