The 4S battery pack is driven by four 2400 mAh NiCad C cells and is rated at 4.8V 2.4Ah. The idea is to build an AW C cell pack at 14.8V 5Ah in order to drive a bulb of the same base type (Pelican 3854/3854). What 12V bulbs of the same base type are available?

1. Choose appropriate bulb
2. Build 4S (2S + 2S) AW C pack
3. Replace plastic lens with UCL

Not sure about a 12 volt PR bulb. But if two AW-C cells will work in the Big Ed it would be a great upgrade with 3854. A Ed-ROP i know it has a al. reflector can you get UCL that fits.

If a 12V bulb of this base type is not readily available, I will proceed with a Big Ed ROP. Four AW C cells in a 2S2P configuration should provide the proper amount of V and A and excellent runtimes.
