Aspheric Ultrafire C2

Hi. i have a Cree Ultrafire C2, and i would like to make it aspheric lense. How hard is this? my guess is, that if i find a lense, it will just fit right in there if its the right size, because i can dismantle it easily and take the glass out.

Whats the best and most easy way to make a C2 aspherical, for a non-modder guy?

If i can do it for my original cree, i would buy a Q5 C2 and have that as a mini search light.

Most of the aspherics I play with come from surplusshed.com (they can be up to 10 times as much elsewhere) so it's a matter of finding one the right size and hoping for the right focal length, then shimming/modding to get the focus perfect. Just my experience so far.

Is there not a company which makes all sizes, and i could just buy the right one for a Ultrafire C2 ?

Sure, but for that size with AR coatings it could be $50-100.

I think someone did something similar with this lens(plastic removable adapter with the lens), I can't remember the thread though.
