M60 Doughnut hole?

I got to finally get an m60. Its High quality overall, the tint and beam
is fantastic however I noticed that the hotspot has a slight void in its center.
To m60 owners out there, is this normal or do I have a rare one?

I don't recall having a "donut" hole in the center... you have picture of the beam shot?

Every one I've ever seen has a slight donut. Not an issue in real life use, only when white wall hunting. Like with a U2.

oh, now I know what you are talking about...it's normal because it use optical.

sorry Im ill equiped for pictures right now. I hope Im describing this right..
Im aware of the rings around the main hotspot, in this case the hotspot itself has a slight void in its center whereby making the hotspot look like a doughnut or a lifesaver floatation device.

you can rest assure it's normal.. from what I know..Gene test all this dropin before shipping it out.

yea, it need some getting use to... I sometime think it too warm for me, but then again..it's really bright!
