Hi,

First of all let me introduce myself, I am Johan Addink and a fanatic scubadiver.
I work at KEMA wich is a certification company in The Netherlands, here I execute electrical tests.
About my tools and lighting experience, I own a lathe and in the time I have made 2 dive lights one 24W HID cable light and one 3x SSC P4 cable light.

Ok now for the question I have got a old ScubaPro bluelight which isnt doing much lately.
What shall I do with it, the only thing I know is that it has to be LED and I wont be using Li-ion (water and Li-ion is NOT a good combination).

Here are some pictures what the light is about.

The lens has a asverical spot in the middle.

But plastic/polymer doesn't transfer heat too well. So even though you have water cooling, the light's body won't allow enough heat to escape.
