Thanks to Phreeflow, Nerdengineer, Mundele, and Meuge the list of single-AA crees got whittled down from about 21 to 6, then three. (Already had ordered the Romisen RC-G2.) So instead of the XJC B-8 Cree, went with KD's newer maybe unknown XJC B-6 2-mode.

Then over to DX for two more; Romisen RC-H3 black, and a SAIK RC-A3 Cree in gold. Those reviews and your comments sure make it interesting to choose a few. Looking forward to picking one of the four for the whole extended family. Then it's going to get real interesting. I gotta have one of those 18650's -maybe two.

Can't figure out the rechargers though yet.

Can't figure out the rechargers though yet.
First, read this to get a thorough understand of all things battery:
http://www.batteryuniversity.com/

Then visit the CPF "Flashlight electronics-batteries included" section:
http://candlepowerforums.com/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=9

Then, for your AA needs:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000IV0REA/?tag=cpf0b6-20

And for when you need lithium-ion batteries:
http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/showthread.php?t=173892

And your lithium-ion charger:
http://www.flashlightz.com/product.php/pila/bc01-ac01/?product=171829&category=1225

There are less expensive lithium-ion chargers available (Ultrafire WF-139 comes to mind), but the Pila gets consistently better reviews.

Enjoy your new lights!

Wow, when I read the title of the thread I thought the OP had decided to preorder all three of the models of the new HDS/RA Twisty. I guess I have Twisty on the brain. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.....
